Meet Nigel & Tracey
For many years Tracey and myself (Nigel) wanted to own our own motorhome but there were a number of issues that kept us from taking the plunge.
Time was one of the issues, or lack of it. I for one didn’t want to have a motorhome that could only be used a few weekends of the year, which would have been the case with us both working full time. Cost was the other key issue. Even the purchase of a second hand unit, several years old, would be a pricey item.
Over time our situation has changed significantly, such that we found ourselves both working more part-time. This firstly allowed us the time to carefully evaluate what we actually needed and the all-important layout of the motorhome. In taking our time with this process it also became much clearer as to what age of motorhome we wanted.
What We Decided To Do
So, at the end of the summer 2020 (between the first and second Covid-19 lockdowns!!) we bit the bullet and purchased “R’Vera”, a six-month old Elddis Encore 285 Prestige with just 500 miles on the clock.
The main purpose of our blog is to simply document our adventures for ourselves to have something to look back on, as well having somewhere for our family and friends to also follow us.
